WHO WE ARE
Our network is composed of researchers from different fields who have a scientific interest in martial arts and combat sports in general.
We found that despite the popularity and interest of the martial arts as a subject of study in the social sciences or in sport and health sciences, they are not always promoted. There are few bridges between the different fields for researchers.
OUR GOAL
Our goal is to promote the study of martial arts in Taiwan and the researchers who are dedicated to it. To do this, we are in the process of setting up several joint projects.
OUR upcoming projects
1. We are organizing a conference in Taiwan in 2024 to allow researchers to exchange and meet each others.
2. Following this conference, we will publish a collective publication of the most innovative and original articles.
3. We would also like to organize a physical and interactive exhibition to showcase the rich and diverse history of martial arts in Taiwan.
